WHY      Enjoy a picnic, visit with your neighbors and meet your new neighbors!

Beer, wine, iced tea and lemonade are provided.

Bring your choice of meat or plant protein to grill

Bring a side dish to share

VOLUNTEERS REQUESTED – at 10 a.m. to set up shelters, tables.

Poison Hemlock spotted in North Turkey Creek today (Aug. 4)

Poison hemlock poses a danger to children and pets. Read more at this link. For your convenience, I’m sending two screen shots from that site that shows you the innocent Queen Anne’s Lace and the Poison Hemlock. The stem color is the key to identifying it.

The North Turkey Creek resident found it in his leach field. (Septic tank drain field) Apparently poison hemlock likes to settle into un-mowed areas.

You’ll earn a CPR card, good for 2 years.

Coffee and snacks provided. 

Awesome opportunity to learn skills to assist with a medical emergency until EMTs arrive on scene. You may help to save a life!
